When first hearing the Leeves one has to think about how original their sound is. They are not your average band. Starting in the studio of a small college radio (Radio Greensboro) by the name of The Leeves Are turning Red and Orange and Purple, the band quickly became popular and started playing shows as The Leeves.
The band has alot of great songs to do almost anything to. Some of my personal favorite tracks are “2 After 18″, “For Our Friends”, and “Who Are You”. They have a Cd/Demo with tracks from their Radio Greensboro session, A previously recorded Demo, and a EP called “This is What We Do With Our Free Time”.
The band is the perfect blend of up beat music with some amazing lyrics set to an awesome musical background. If you like bands like the National Rigfle or Big Attack then the Leeves could be the band for you.
